RK Speed Team have celebrated its first Annual Award Ceremony on 25^th February 2017 with tremendous enthusiasm and fun around. The occasion was gratified by various dignitaries from political and sports establishments. Sh. Dharm Singh Gahlot, a renowned political face in Dwarka Constituency, Sh. Rajpal Solanki, a well-known social worker, Sh. Balbir Singh, President of RWA Vishwas Park and Sh. Deshraj, a prominent personality in national skating fraternity have contented the event with their presence.

The event was inaugurated by welcoming guests and lighting the candles along with a beautiful welcome song for all the invitees. Mementos were presented to the guests by RK Speed Team Members. Singers, dancers and other performers raised the temperature with their stunning performances. Coach Sh. Ravi Khati himself added his elegance by singing a beautiful song. We witnessed some emotional moments as skaters expressed their gratefulness for the coaches and vice-a-versa.

Sh. Ramesh Saxena presented certificate of appreciation to RK Speed Team Coaches to convey a word of gratitude on behalf of parents and well-wishers of RK Speed Team.

The awards were categorised into 5 main categories…

• Skaters Mohit, Tarun, Akash, Tamanna, Harsh, Yogit, Kanny, Seerat, Sidhi, Gopika and Vriti were awarded with the PROMOSING SKATERS of the year 2016.
• Skaters Jessica, Abhishek, Anirudh, Divangi, Sanya, Aaranya, Ananya and Vishesh were awarded with the OVERALL PERFORMERS of the year 2016.
• Skaters Krish, Aakriti and Narayani were awards as the BEST DEBUT 2016.
• Skaters Ishi, Saanvi, Pritha, Harshit and Kabir were awarded as BEST PERFORMANCES OF YEAR 2016 and presented a team trophy along with team skin suit.
• AND Ms. Prakriti Saxena was awarded the BEST RK SKATER of the Year 2016 and were presented BEST SKATER TROPHY along with team skin suit and training fee discount voucher for the next session.

The event was concluded with a presentation to the parents by chief coach Sh. Ravi Khati explaining strategies and training procedures for the coming year.
